Romantic Junglist Mix: Jungle tracks from 1994 to 2025 with romantic sing-a-long vibes

This year, the month of May was even more romantic than usual: There was a wedding in the mix, on top of all the other springtime festivities. And that wedding presented me with a unique and very JUngLEkalender-esque opportunity: to play some romantic jungle tunes. There was a DJ booth, there were junglists among the guests, and we were in a dance pavilion. It simply had to happen.

So: In honour of the romantic vibe of May, I’ve recorded a mix featuring some of the tracks I brought to the wedding. Some are full-blown romantic tunes, some are more sing-a-long-esque, and some are simply just more melodic and undeniably more disney-esque than the darker sounds I usually prefer to play when I dj.

Tracklist:
Sir Hiss and 4am Kru: Earshots

Aphrodite and Mickey Finn: Wishing on a Star

Sully: X plus Y

Cause 4 Concern: Give It To ‘Em

Taktix: It’s The Way (Serum Remix)

Congo Natty & X Project: Jah Set It (Dub Plate Mix)

Nico & Ed Rush: The Force is Electric

Computa: Quantiphyed Clouds

Jack Rock: Explorations of a 4th Dimension

Origin One & Jumpin Jack Frost: Touch Road feat. Aziza Jaye

BRUK & Fez the Kid: Intergalactic Sound Clash

Arcane: Heaven in My Mind

Fez the Kid: Place of Mystery

Red One: Alive’n’Kickin’

Mix info:
The mix features tracks from 1994 to 2025, from massive classics to new tunes with oldskool sensibilities, and there are some Dabish tunes in the mix, too: A rare gem from an old Computa release (Quantiphyed Clouds from 1998) and a newer one from Jack Rock’s newest album (thoroughly pitched for the occasion, LOL, forgive me).

The pic is from the wedding, and Jack Rock is second from the left (in the back, with sunglasses).

Romance + Jungle
My very first JUngLEkalender post ever actually had a romantic theme: The 7 Most Romantic Jungle Tunes Ever.

I wrote that post on December 1st, 2014, and at the time I had no idea that the JUngLEkalender would go on for so many seasons. But it turned out there was more than enough material, LOL. And jungle stuff just keeps happening, so perhaps The JUngLEkalender will simply run forever, too.

I introduced the post like this on facebook:
Okay, junglists.

Here’s the link to the first JUngLEkalender post ever: The 7 most romantic jungle tunes ever

The post prompted the longest facebook comment I’ve ever seen Mariii write. Ever. LOL.
