Blasts from the Past: Ohoi! turns 4
We’re on a boat!
Another trip to the past, this time the 4 year anniversary of Ohoi!, held at Stubnitz, that crazy ship. Let’s go back to July 15th, 2006. One fine, hot summer evening.
First, the warm-up on my terrace. This photo gives me some real oldskool feels. Look at this collection of junglists!
I mean, awww. Also: Laura is wearing the perfect junglist outfit.
Citadel crew! – ready for departure.
Arrived at the boat. Checking out the deck.
Yup. That’s right. Nothing has changed since then. Check out later blog posts this month for amazing proof.
Tim Driver on the decks. The ceiling looks rough.
The most amazing amounts of colour coordination going on here. Also, I am wearing a ship around my neck. Coincidence? Of course not. Attention to detail, people.
The line-up on the mainfloor was Potential Bad Boy (UK), Kristobal Cologne and Tim Driver.
It was HOT on that dancefloor, but these guys are used to heat at Brazilian levels. Check out dj Schack’s most amazing watch slash sweat wristband.
MC AD turning up the heat. Check out Mariiii and Christina sporting their mighty fine summer tans up front to the right.
Chriszka and Garridge Bwoy showing Jonask some love. I am reaching the maximum of Looking Retarded here.
Multi-level dancing. Actually I think Stubnitz has one of the scariest mainfloors in the world. Steel stairs and stumble hazards everywhere. But junglists can dance everywhere (and do anything), of course. And we have dj Drop, too, calmly overlooking things from the edge of that steel floor, making sure noone falls through weird holes or something. Extra points for spotting Rita Blue.
Oh my, one of Citadullerne was there!
That dance floor, whauw. But junglists survive the maddest things.
